For the coming spring, shorts I bought myself and strongly recommend. You may have worn a lot of knit; these rib pants also work in spring and summer. Skirts over a leotard are pretty, but lately shorts over a leotard look chic to me. I hunted for that, but many ribs look tight and then stretch, so they do not hold a soft body. This fabric is firm rib as the name says: it sits close without excess, holds the line, and stays easy. If the belly is out or you dance after a meal, the high-waist rib layer presses a bit (that bonus is for me!!). High waist lengthens the leg; a mid crop can emphasize the thigh, while this short length makes the thigh look slimmer. Pretty colors, good firm-rib shorts — a good choice. It stretches, so a slim 66 can work.

Care

To keep the original shape of a Jennie Ballet leotard, please wash it with the following in mind.

  • Wringing — Do not twist by hand. Press out water, then press with a dry towel.
  • Drying — Hang dry in a cool, well-ventilated place to protect the fabric.
  • Washing — Soon after wear, hand wash in lukewarm water with wool shampoo.
  • Caution — Do not machine dry — it can harm the fabric.

Jennie Ballet aims for same-day dispatch on orders placed before 2 p.m. Every piece is inspected before it ships.

Weekend and holiday orders ship on the next business day. Couriers may add 1–2 days.

Exchange and return

  • Garments with signs of wear cannot be exchanged or returned.
  • Swarovski-applied and white-family pieces may have limited change-of-mind exchange or return because of staining and attached crystals. Defects and misdelivery can still be exchanged or returned. A product-specific note, if any, applies.

  • Color transfer from mixed washing or drying is not a reason for exchange or return.
