Terms of use

Trade name Jennie (the “Company”) publishes these terms for the Jennie Ballet online shop (own mall) so that the Company and users can buy and sell goods in line with Korea’s Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and other applicable laws.

These terms apply to the own mall. Orders placed on Naver Smart Store or another sales channel follow that channel’s terms and policies first.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms set the rights, duties, and responsibilities of the Company and users when using the internet services of the mall.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • “Mall” means the Jennie Ballet own-store website where the Company offers goods for sale.
  • “User” means a member or guest who uses the mall under these terms.
  • “Member” means a user who has registered an account.
  • “Guest” means a user who shops without registering.

Article 3 (Posting and changes)

1. The Company posts these terms and its identity (trade name, representative, address, phone, email, business registration number, mail-order report number) where users can find them, including the footer.

2. The Company may revise these terms within the law. The Company will announce the effective date and the reason, together with the current terms, at least 7 days before the change. A change that is unfavorable to users is announced with at least 30 days’ notice.

3. If a user continues to use the service after a revision is announced without stating an objection, the user is treated as having agreed to the revised terms.

Article 5 (Accounts)

1. A user applies for membership by filling in the sign-up form and agreeing to these terms and the privacy policy. Agreement to both is required to create an email account.

2. The Company may refuse registration if the application is false or incomplete, the applicant previously lost membership under these terms, the applicant is under 14 without a legal representative’s consent, or registration would seriously hinder the mall’s operation.

3. Members must keep account details up to date through the account page or customer service / 1:1 inquiry.

4. A member may request withdrawal at any time. The Company processes it without delay as the law allows. An open order, return, or refund may be finished first.

5. The mall does not operate points, stored value, or coupons.

Article 6 (Orders and contract)

1. A user orders by selecting goods, entering the recipient and address, reviewing shipping and withdrawal information, and choosing a payment method.

2. The Company may decline an order that is false or incomplete, that is for an item that is sold out or not on display, or that would seriously hinder operation. A minor’s contract may be cancelled if a legal representative did not consent.

3. The contract is formed when the Company’s acceptance reaches the user. Completing payment in the payment window may count as that acceptance.

4. Guests may order with recipient and address details. Guest order lookup needs the order number and the order email.

Article 7 (Payment methods)

Payment for goods bought on the mall may be made as follows. The Company does not add a processing fee on top of the price of the goods.

  • Naver Pay: Korean won (KRW).
  • Bank transfer: Korean won (KRW) deposit. After you order, pay the stated account by the deadline and put the order number in the memo. The order stays unpaid until the Company confirms the deposit.
  • PayPal: United States dollars (USD), overseas destinations only. Any won amount on screen is a conversion only. The charge is the USD amount PayPal shows and captures.

Kakao Pay is not offered. Sensitive card data is handled by the payment provider. The Company only sees the approval result it needs under the law and its contracts.

If the currency or amount does not match the order, or payment is cancelled or fails, the contract may not form or that payment may be void. Cancel and refund of a paid order follow the returns guide and the order page.

Article 8 (Delivery)

1. Unless otherwise agreed, the Company takes the steps needed to ship within 7 days of the order, or within 3 business days of receiving payment if payment was already taken, as the Electronic Commerce Act provides. Users can check progress on the order page.

2. Domestic Korea shipping follows the shipping guide: ₩3,500, free over ₩120,000.

3. Overseas shipping is not quoted at checkout. PayPal still charges the goods in USD. Ask for a quote through a 1:1 inquiry after payment.

4. If the Company cannot deliver because of a cause beyond its control, such as a natural disaster or a stock-out, it will notify the user and refund any payment already taken as the law requires.

Article 9 (Cancel, withdrawal, return, refund)

1. An unshipped mall order (pending payment, paid, or preparing) can be cancelled on the order page. A paid mall PayPal order is refunded to the original method when the cancel is accepted.

2. A user who contracted to buy goods may withdraw the offer within 7 days of receiving the written contract details, or of receiving the goods if they arrived later, under Article 17 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, unless that Act provides otherwise.

3. A return or exchange is not available if the goods were lost or damaged by the user (except opening packaging to inspect them), if use or partial consumption greatly reduced their value, if time has made resale unreasonably hard, or if the packaging of copyable goods was damaged.

4. For mall PayPal orders, request a return on the order page within 7 days of delivery. The Company refunds through PayPal after it confirms recovery. Courier pickup is not offered; how to send the goods back is explained in a 1:1 inquiry. The return-request screen does not collect a return shipping fee. The buyer pays return shipping for a change of mind; the seller pays for a defect or misdelivery.

5. An exchange may be handled as a refund and a new order. See the returns guide.

6. Cancel, return, and refund of a Naver Smart Store (or other channel) order follow that channel.

Article 10 (Privacy)

The Company collects only the personal information it needs to provide the service. Purpose, items, and retention are stated in the privacy policy on the mall.

Article 11 (Duties)

1. The Company will not act against the law or public morals, and will use reasonable efforts to supply goods steadily under these terms.

2. Users must not register false information, use another person’s details, alter posted information without permission, send unauthorized programs, infringe intellectual property, harm the Company’s or a third party’s reputation or work, or post obscene or violent content.

Article 12 (Intellectual property)

Copyright and other intellectual property in materials the Company created belong to the Company. Users may not copy, transmit, publish, distribute, or broadcast that information for profit, or let a third party do so, without prior consent.

Article 13 (Notices)

The Company may notify a member by the email address on the account. A notice to many members may be posted on the mall for at least one week instead of individual notice, except for matters that seriously affect a member’s own transaction.

Article 14 (Disputes and governing law)

1. The Company runs customer service and 1:1 inquiries for legitimate complaints.

2. Phone 010-9482-6175, email born1101@naver.com. Hours are confirmed after an order or inquiry is received.

3. A lawsuit about an e-commerce dispute is filed in the district court that has exclusive jurisdiction over the user’s address (or residence if there is no address) at the time of filing. If the address is unknown or the user lives abroad, the Civil Procedure Act applies.

4. Korean law governs e-commerce disputes between the Company and the user.
