Gisell Willi

If Swan Lake is classical ballet, Giselle is romantic ballet. Giselle, who had a heart illness, learns Albrecht lied; body and heart slowly die. After her death, act two truly begins. Missing the one she loves, she dances even in death to protect him. We wanted that beautiful, tragic figure as a leotard.

All white would show death easily, but would be less useful in class, so we chose pale mint with a hint of grey. Plain pretty mint could not hold that mood. That gave us the Giselle Willi leotard: not heavy, a little pale, not fussy about skin tone.

Giselle skirt in fine mesh is done. Many asked to sell the coordinated skirt as a set. With that support we made it, a double skirt with generous cloth. White with silver pearl sits well with mint grey. List price ₩45,000; a reduced price for those who buy it with the Giselle Willi leotard. Available in the set configuration.

Care

To keep the original shape of a Jennie Ballet leotard, please wash it with the following in mind.

• Wringing — Do not twist by hand. Press out water, then press with a dry towel.
• Drying — Hang dry in a cool, well-ventilated place to protect the fabric.
• Washing — Soon after wear, hand wash in lukewarm water with wool shampoo.
• Caution — Do not machine dry — it can harm the fabric.

Shipping

Jennie Ballet aims for same-day dispatch on orders placed before 2 p.m. Every piece is inspected before it ships.

Weekend and holiday orders ship on the next business day. Couriers may add 1–2 days.

Exchange and return

• Garments with signs of wear cannot be exchanged or returned.
• Swarovski-applied and white-family pieces may have limited change-of-mind exchange or return because of staining and attached crystals. Defects and misdelivery can still be exchanged or returned. A product-specific note, if any, applies.
• Color on screen may differ from the real piece depending on your display.
• Color transfer from mixed washing or drying is not a reason for exchange or return.
• Exchange and return are not possible if the product or packaging is damaged for reasons attributable to the buyer.
• If you need a detailed check, ask before purchase — we will reply in order.
• Because these are garments, even the same style and fabric can vary slightly in color or size by production lot.
• None of the above is a product defect. Exchange or return shipping in those cases is the customer’s cost.
