The chest-to-neck area and part of the back that look like bare skin use fine mesh from figure-skating costumes — skin is not actually exposed. The rest is the Italian-yarn fabric from Odile, also more functional. At Odile’s launch many liked the “as if wearing nothing” cling. Anna Karenina uses the same cloth.

A luxurious, beautiful, comfortable halter. Some worry a halter shortens the neck. The choker sits relatively low to avoid that, and can even make the neck look longer. The back strap length is adjustable. From sampling, many said it was “a halter, but comfortable.” Hardware was chosen carefully for velvet’s warmth and luxury. Korean-made fabric and findings, sewn in a Korean factory.

Anna Karenina is restocked. Thinner velvet than before, for all four seasons. Size L was added. The loop fastening was renewed so it is easier to close. The loop is a more luxurious, costlier finding than a button. A gold loop finishes the back.

Both colors of Anna Karenina have their own charm. Seeing the wine color, I thought of Yuna Kim’s costume. A leotard that recalls a performance dress will light your ballet.

Care

To keep the original shape of a Jennie Ballet leotard, please wash it with the following in mind.

  • Wringing — Do not twist by hand. Press out water, then press with a dry towel.
  • Drying — Hang dry in a cool, well-ventilated place to protect the fabric.
  • Washing — Soon after wear, hand wash in lukewarm water with wool shampoo.
  • Caution — Do not machine dry — it can harm the fabric.

Shipping

Jennie Ballet aims for same-day dispatch on orders placed before 2 p.m. Every piece is inspected before it ships.

Weekend and holiday orders ship on the next business day. Couriers may add 1–2 days.

Exchange and return

  • Garments with signs of wear cannot be exchanged or returned.
