#02 Empire-dress square neck — a large trait of Empire-era dresses is the square neck. We minimized exposure and, through many samples, finished an optimized square neck for a luxurious sexiness.
#04 Detachable point choker — films set in the Empire era are full of chokers and ornate necklaces; missing that detail would not be Jennie Ballet. We include a detachable choker so you can change the mood :)

Imagine a Napoleonic ballroom: thick jacquard and velvet belong there — you see them in portraits of Napoleon and Joséphine.
“Josephine” is a piece leotard in jacquard usually reserved for fine apparel. Like tweed, it is loom-woven and very durable. The process is complex, so the fabric is costly.
We went through domestic and overseas markets to find a stretch jacquard.
To keep the jacquard’s own pattern, we used a natural skin-tone lining.
Luxury stays, and compared with earlier Jennie Ballet made pieces, “Josephine” is firmer and holds the body more.
#01 Empire-dress corset detail — a beautiful dress line is always finished with a corset. We designed the corset detail so you can feel as if you are wearing a dress.
#03 Fine jacquard and the jacquard’s own pattern — jacquard is a cloth used in fine apparel. A leotard in fine stretch jacquard may be a first for us at Jennie Ballet. To show the beautiful jacquard pattern, we layered skin-tone fabric underneath.
Shoulder flat is the length of the square-neck trim on both sides.

“Josephine” is basted; a “crack” sound on first wear is not a defect.
“Josephine” has a higher leg line than previous Jennie Ballet made pieces, so the legs look longer. Future reorders and new pieces will use the same leg line.
Care
To keep the original shape of a Jennie Ballet leotard, please wash it with the following in mind.
- Wringing — Do not twist by hand. Press out water, then press with a dry towel.
- Drying — Hang dry in a cool, well-ventilated place to protect the fabric.
- Washing — Soon after wear, hand wash in lukewarm water with wool shampoo.
- Caution — Do not machine dry — it can harm the fabric.

Exchange and return
- Garments with signs of wear cannot be exchanged or returned.
- Swarovski-applied and white-family pieces may have limited change-of-mind exchange or return because of staining and attached crystals. Defects and misdelivery can still be exchanged or returned. A product-specific note, if any, applies.
- Color on screen may differ from the real piece depending on your display.
- Color transfer from mixed washing or drying is not a reason for exchange or return.
- Exchange and return are not possible if the product or packaging is damaged for reasons attributable to the buyer.
- If you need a detailed check, ask before purchase — we will reply in order.
- Because these are garments, even the same style and fabric can vary slightly in color or size by production lot.
- None of the above is a product defect. Exchange or return shipping in those cases is the customer’s cost.

This is a leotard I've been looking at for a long time. Jennie Ballet leos have never once let me down. Unique, great value, one of a kind, the texture and the design are so pretty, it's a leotard where you can see the meticulous care in every corner so I own quite a few, and this leo is completely different from the puffs of countless other leos—structured puffs, a square line that makes the upper body look pretty. My mate also said it was so pretty the moment they saw it and ordered the black. When I wear it I dance feeling like I've become a princess.
I recommend it for repertoire class. The back is pretty, and it stretches well.
So pretty. I've been wearing it well for ballet class.
The moment I first received it I was so amazed at how pretty it is♡ Pretty short-sleeve ones are really hard to find, but it gives off such a princess vibe, and because it's a square neck it really shows off the collarbone line beautifully. The shoulder puffs are just right—kinda extra but not too extra. The lace tie point at the neck is spot on^^ The uncommon jacquard fabric also plays a part in making this piece even prettier. Though since it's white, it might look a bit bulkier than your actual body type. I usually don't buy ivory tones because I'm worried they'll make me look bulkier than I am, but this leotard design was so pretty I couldn't give it up! I'll wear it prettily^^
Bought it as a Christmas gift and they love it so much. They said it caused a stir at the ballet studio too.
It holds the figure right in so I look slim~ So pretty and the size is perfect~ I was worried it might catch at the hips since I'm an ajumma, but it's a perfect fit~ I'm definitely going to wear it when I take ballet profile photos~

Really pretty and comfortable to wear. Because of the puffs and the white it kind of feels like Giselle, and when I put it on it's so pretty I feel that good...! Though I think it's better to buy based on the tops you usually wear. I bought M and it's a bit long so it wrinkles some.
The details are so pretty and it looks really pretty when worn and in person-!
Such a pretty leotard
Lately I've been eating a lot so I was a little worried if S would be okay, but the stretch is really good too, and sometimes leotards with puffs or sleeves get uncomfortable during ballet movements but this one doesn't. Super comfortable~ Pretty and comfy~^^ Super super pretty. Plus the owner even wrote a handwritten note~!! So touching! I bought 3 leos at once but I still want Odile and Odette too!!! And thank you so much for the pouch you sent as a gift~^^ I'll use it well~^^
The material is really good too, and the velvet fabric under the bust and the shoulder puffs—you can feel they were made with real care and love, which I liked. I don't usually leave reviews but I am. The garment is sturdy too and holds the body well so the fit looks slim, and the corset detail in the back plus the empire neckline that's surprisingly hard to find in leotards make this such a charming piece. If you're considering it I really recommend buying!
I haven't posted yet so no try-on shots, but it's so luxurious and I love it 😍 The design isn't common but it's comfortable to wear and not overwhelming. I'm going to wear it for profile photos too. Please make more pretty products~

First of all it's so pretty and a comfortably fitting size. I don't think it holds you firmly though
Puff sleeves, square neckline, choker with lace-cord detailing—you can't take any one of them away, it's a perfect combination. The fit feels comfortable too, but it's the kind of style that holds everything that needs holding. I'm 80A with a girth of 143, and the S size has room and fits comfortably well.
I don't usually write reviews or anything... but I love this so much. There's not a single part that isn't luxurious. I tried it on, loved it so much I immediately ordered the same model in black too. I'll be a regular from now on. Please make lots of great ballet wear!!!
So glamorous and princess-like! There's a bust pad pocket too but no pads included, so you can insert your own. The fabric is thick and double-layered, and the shirring at the chest makes it look like there's volume. Pair it with a short tutu-style skirt and it's totally glamorous! But even though I barely have belly fat, the stomach is tight so the lower belly shows a little!
It's so pretty! My girth is on the long side so I exchanged for a size up, and they were so kind that the exchange went easily. The bust line is low and there's not much stretch, so if you have a long girth I'd recommend sizing up

Wow I've never seen such a pretty leo~~ It's a princess leo like you've stepped into a ballet piece~ Seems like such a great leo when you want a mood boost for a piece~ I'm a sweaty person so with every part being double-layered it might be hot, but I still want to wear this leo ^^ Even the neck ribbon and the back ribbon are all pretty ^^
The design and color are very luxurious. The fabric is sturdy but it doesn't feel stuffy. The sleeves aren't uncomfortable either, and they don't get in the way when you move. Very satisfied. (Oh, I bought M then exchanged for S because it was a bit big. Fits perfectly.)
I felt really sorry toward the seller during the purchase process but it's really really pretty ^^ It holds the waistline well and complements the body line~ I only thought about my weight and got L, but my upper body is on the skinny side so the top is loose~ Apart from that I'm satisfied :)

I like the luxury of jacquard fabric so I bought it at open. It's snug and stretches well and holds the body nicely. If you have a small chest you don't need bra cups so it's comfortable. Putting on the enclosed ribbon lets you style it even more elegantly. Especially the velvet line under the bust is a stroke of genius 👍 It draws the eye upward so the lower body looks longer. Applause for the designer's eye! I hope a skirt in the same fabric comes out so you can style it even more gracefully. I'll wear it well, and I'll use the complimentary pen well too. Thank you!
